The Waste Management industry is a dirty business in more ways than one. I reside 550 k's inland from an eastern state capital and noticed large volume tip trucks travelling towards the coast empty. All large volume tip trucks are usually always full of grain carting to port. It turns out that a Large National Waste Management Company were using sub contractors to take the long road to dump waste in our area and then taking the direct route past us to return to the big smoke. Of course returning value to shareholder is also there claim. The reward for accepting the big smoke rubbish was about $2400 per load plus cartage. The waste industry is very lucrative when it comes to the huge waste generated from our state capitals. Moving forward the experts predict that Perth will create 8 to10 million tonnes of waste per year so the M8S estimates of waste received at Gin Gin should be achievable. Because of Covid19 everything seems to be late and over budget, disappointing but who could of predicted Covid?
At this stage i am giving M8S the benefit of the doubt for 2 years. Good luck to all holders.
