I’m haven’t commented as I’m still laughing from Karadoc thinking PG Tips was a landfill. It’s actually a perfect name. There was a Balti Towers Indian Restaurant in Halesowen in Birmingham that I used to go to, I always thought that was the perfect name until the PG Tip came up. Made my weekend. Bottom line fellas, there isn’t an ASX listed waste company other than the big boys, Cleanaway, Bingo etc so I totally see the attraction and potential in M8. Tom Rudas has been trying to do this for the last 10 years and failed, the barriers to market for a waste ASX are immense, that’s probably why it hasn’t occurred before. Last week Veolia in Perth produced a report indicating that total waste tonnes going to landfill are expected to fall by 40% over the next 18 months, cash for cans, green and food waste recycling and the incinerators will reduce the tonnes. Already the main landfill players are making changes in anticipation of the tonnage drop, license modifications to accept a wider range of contaminants for example at Redhill who will soon be able to accept pfos soil into a new cat 4 cell. There is an over supply of landfill space now, it will increase soon. I don’t know why the Thais are backing it, the theory that they will own a landfill if it goes under I don’t subscribe to as they still don’t have any material to go in it. Personally I think they’ve swallowed the Rudas BS. The Thais are never seen anywhere else in town and have no contact with anyone else, therefore their market knowledge is limited to what Tom tells them. Bizarre. I hope you make millions of it Mike if I’m wrong. My reason for coming on here in the first place was to provide some knowledge about the industry and point out the flaws in the M8 plan. They could possibly make it work but not with the team they have. Their business development guy, a man called Ginsu, we put a very normal enquiry in a few weeks ago to take some material to Maddington and he made it so hard we didn’t bother and sent it to WA recycling instead. Sure we’ll talk soon fellas
