My take is that the financials are actually quite good- pandemic or no pandemic. The issue is that contract wins are lumpy.
They try to diversify- we find out sustainment can be high volume but low margin.
You go back through the announcements and you find progress towards staying in the tent with the US Navy and their paymasters.
Relying on government contracts is a two edged sword. The tap can be turned off. Or your enterprise can be in a politically strategic region. My reading is that the company is in tune with what the US Navy is trying to do.
Starting to ramble. I have bought the risk reward regarding some chunk of the money to be spent on the US Navy going forward. Any announcements I read can be either bonuses or indications that they have a chance at the prize.
My investment here is a level of risk that I am willing to take- at this SP and at the percentage of my portfolio that it represents. This may not suit someone else.
