I don't know enough about BBI to make a comment on the situation. We do a lot of research on a company before committing capital and BBI has not been researched.
A quick look at the companies suggests to me that any connection or correlation in the share prices are unrelated or simply a result of anchoring on the part of investors.
BBI has almost 2.4 billion shares on issue; BBP has about 726m. Even at the current share prices, BBI has a market cap over 3 times that of BBP.
Just one of those quirks of the sharemarket I guess.
