The ML / BoA games appear to have stopped for a while.

According to ASIC, the total shorts have been fairly static around the 5-6M mark, not much more than a one day volume available so any covering rally will certainly not send the SP to the moon.

Of course, someone might get bored and borrow 50M shares from someone and dump them all at once, although I can't think for the life of me who in their right mind would lend out their shares knowing full well the other party intends to smash the SP to the point where they will only be worth a fraction of the original value by the time you get them back....
