I assure you, it was genuine. I bought a few parcels in 2020 and rode it up and down since then. I'd love to have stuck it out and rode it up a bit higher to actually get some meaningful profit but I'm happy to have had the opportunity to get my money back out, even if it's not an inflation adjusted breakeven.
