Yep, sometimes a whole day or more.
It's too tough to say. Many practices won't even deal with complex advice (above their knowledge/pay scale) but some deal with it exclusively. Those that service high net worth clientele will generally need to otherwise someone else will as they can afford to pay for it.
Edit: I'd guess at least 70% of the advice provided in Aus is quite simple.
