Hi folks,
I had a concern with the operational update that came out on 2/9 that didn't specify the quantity of material movement for August. Vague terms like "according to budget" weren't satisfying me. So I rang Peter and asked for a figure. The dirt moved for August was a touch under 3MT inclusive of both waste and ore. This was based on truck counts and still awaits a more accurate reconciliation. But in any case, it's significantly more than the 2.2MT achieved in July. This is an encouraging step forward. By my maths, it means that at the strip ratio in the mining plan, they are currently producing enough ore to keep the plant fully utilised. (Though we are aware that there are some issues with the grinding of the primary ore).
Cheers,
Tim.
