If you dont know what Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) is, its basically a way to extract energy from coal by drilling down and causing a reaction to produce energy pumped back up.

This is a clean method of coal energy as it leaves the waste in the ground and is more efficient as it removes the cost of actually extrating coal.

Furthermore, there are thousands of tenaments around the world where its not economically viable to extract coal because its just too deep. UCG overcomes this which is why we should start seeing investors jump on the UCG bandwagon soon!
