There is much discussion on the availability of water for mining operations at both MOY and Beatons Creek . Claims by Novo of having bores on their tenements to alleviate the water shortage of MOY for their process plant requirements needs to be backed up with information in respect of (A) Water Licences that have been granted by Dept of Water and Environment to Novo and (B) The allowable draw down rights and other relevant information attached to those water licenses and (C) The very complex native title situation in respect of a lot of the water resources in the Nullagine area. Water is being bought and transported considerable distances now by many mining operations in the Pilbara. It is a critical resource . Novo needs to substantiate its claims with hard evidence of water availability and licensed bores on its tenements.
