Interesting chart Newbegining. Vertical lines across the time series start marking peaks and end marking troughs. But the 2017 upchannel is convincing, and not weakened by modest variation in cycle periods this year. Seems some strong consistent factors have determined GC1 in 2017. Some suggest we'll get another smack down from here, before a strong rise again in the new year like the last 2 or 3 years. Maybe we get a blend of the upchannel and a New Year effect; without knowing the drivers of these patterns we juggle guesses, and try appropriate strategies. Maybe hedge bets for now?.
