Given the rampant philogyny in the ALP I don't see the problem. KK wears a skirt. Being from the USA she embodies all that is pure and appealing about multiculturalism. She is a member - and a very proud member at that - of the sisterhood so it's all positive. It reminds us all of the parachute offered to Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett. Sure it stinks of ALP hypocrisy but it is the ALP; the party of ideas.
