We are half way through March and you would think the NITI Aayog committee have and are having a good look at the ECT/NMDC/NLC tie up. With Modi involved could the tie up and ceremony event be a major India/Aus tie up that sees both govt reprasentatives present as both governments have been working towards strong relations to forge business relationships between the 2 countries. Interestingly Malcolm Turnaball is due in India the the 1st half of April according to their media in The Hindu as below. Very interesting times over the coming weeks and as ECT has stated on numerous occasions the Aus govt involvement through India has been very strong. Top this with the final MPA going via the NITI AAyog committee due to its inportance to India's energy security and with The Ausindustry ruling having a positive ruling this tie up could be of significant importance for both the Aus/India govt to be involved in the final MPA sign off. Food for thought.
