She no doubt appreciated that she was something of a guinea pig MM. The medical bureaucracy would never approve but I think all involved made a good risk/reward call here.
Antivirals are best taken early, before the viral load builds. Very interesting that MPL worked quickly anyway - a great outcome Mr Mouse.
