Myronc, he posted that a contract had been given for the MPM (not the MAUL) and technically he is correct but he is being silly really, it was some time ago now when the contract was given, it is not the full contract for MPM, only one for testing purposes and it was for about $1.3M, strange that the competition got $3M for the same contract really in my opinion, but something that does make me thing they will be using electronically fired stacked round technology in MPM is the fact that the ARDEC in the US has placed a request for interested parties in a PLA (Patent Licence agreement) for Electrically-fired multiple projectile large caliber round United States Patent 7451702

I believe that if they are prepared to use this technology above then the same enabling technology is in the MPM lethal/nonlethal weapon provided by metalstorm, namely the Firestorm, and I believe both will use the same types of ammunition in both systems?
