This sort of abusrd speculation is what happens when a company fails to communicate effectively with the market. At the very least Metal Storm should give us an update on the following :
(1) Colt and MAUL engineering production evaluation (with timeline) - the silence is deafening.
(2) Who will be manufacturing the ammunition for MAUL - is this BAE Systems? They were listed as being involved in 12 gauge ammo development for MST.
(3) MPM-NLWS projected timeline - is Metal Storm in the process of responding to the RFP?
(4) Estimated costs - when a company is this cash strapped, we should know what the burn rate is likely to be as they ramp up. Is this round of funding enough to get particular products into production? If not, how much is required? How will the money be broken down?
(5) USMC and MAUL - is this dead? Wasn't the MAUL initially intended to meet their specific requirements in the first place?
(6) Australian police force trials - what is going on? Timeframe for this?
(7) Exactly what is required to turn Metal Storm into a production company and how far along are we to achieving this goal? Is it years, months, never?
They've come to us time and time again for hand-outs, without explicitly communicating how money is being spent - well, it's not good enough guys, you're a publicly listed company! You're also giving away stock at a significant discount to so called institutional investors, while not giving your share holders the same opportunity; do you care to respond to that?
