    recko1...

    Apples with apples my friend.

You are not making any case for future value, assets at hand...and most importantly, capacity to convert such potential with one of the best teams on the boards!

Capacities however must be matched to assets...BHP sadly didn't have them...MPO obviously do.

If I may...what did AOE have in the way of assets 2 years ago...or indeed 2P reserves?

Need to consider the value of an embryonic entry into MPO...what proce were AOE when they too were still embyonic?

And yes...my mistake...GIP not reserves, which of course will only come from further work.

But you also must realise the Liulin "estimate" is only for a portion of their ground...unlike ESG, they have not squeezed every last conceptual inch from their prospects...on the contrary, MPO have only gone down to seam 10 (500m) and have not even included recent core results.

Liulin may still be just a GIP estimate, but with over "124 coal coreholes and 13 CBM exploration wells in the area, of which 71 coal holes and 6 CBM wells were in the 200 square kilometre Liulin block", they are not far from reserve status.

Interestingly, the estimate did not include the most recent exploration wells, which have effectively proven the estimate can already be increased significantly.

Really...I am not trying to convince anyone of anything here...but must say I fail to see the relevance in statements like "MPO is overvalued"...which are clearly impossible statements to make at this point in time.

I mean this is an industry entirely reliant on critical mass...it is simply non-sensical to suggest any company still in it's embryonic stages and not yet at their particular critical mass, to be in any way "expensive" based on it's producing peers?

What 2P reserves did AOE have two years ago when their share price (and market cap) was still some 3 times MPO's current price?

I ask you...in real quantifiable terms...how on earth can you arive at the view MPO is expensive?

What or who are you comparing it to...and what figures are you using?

I mean...please give me some form of measure which shows MPO is expensive at this point in time against similar stocks at a similar phase of their development?

Sorry...but I have to question your interest here...are you really here, spending all that time posting on a stock you do not like just to save us from ourselves?

I mean, is this what you want us to think?

There are so many stocks that need your services (hundreds in fact), so why the specific interest for MPO...and right when they are on the edge of a technically importantr break-out point?

Forget the fundamentals for a minute...technically, MPO is about to make a significant break, unless of course less than genuine trading ensues...which I might add woulf not surprise me given previous "activity".

I only hope the ASX will be watching more carefully this time around!

For the record...I have no issues with fair comment, alternative opinion, whatever...but I am always suspicious of selective representation of data, as it clearly reeks of agenda.

I want more shares too...but I am not prepared to try and scare someone out of a good position just to save me a point or two...my views are not influenced by my desire to buy (or sell).

Not saying this of you...but must say you seem to be very selective with your "assessment" and presentation of data here.

    Cheers!
