So yes, the grades have underperformed, albeit, the bigger issue has been green lantern as Scotia still has a fair bit to be mined, but... as I understand it, the bigger issue was the initial open pit contractor's and their poor performance, with much higher dilution and hence, lower grades.

As you have noticed, Scotia is trending higher (I believe that will continue all way to the end of 2024).

I am less concerned about Scotia U/G, at least when I compare to how successful OK/Star of Erin has been to date.


Thanks for leading me to find this little extract about Mainfield. 21,000 ounces in reserves is not a large figure, but... potentially could pay for itself if they do want to expand quickly to another mining centre.



Hopefully others might have some views on the under performance of Scotia and Green Lantern.
