Pete, I don't wish to offend you and you sound like a good, solid person. But you made a grand assumption on my age. I am a casualty of the 1987 crash, and a victim of bear markets since. I wonder if younger people realise that, even in reasonably good times, more than half of all stocks meander or slide, another portion falls off the cliff and the remainder go up at various speeds and levels. BTW, I am 67. Assumptions are bad news in all walks of life, especially the stock market. Bless and good luck, I'm sure you've done well overall.
