You're kidding if you think people will believe you picked the absolute highs and lows and then ask a simple question about earnings. How do you short a company without knowing what they do?
Earnings are taking a hit (just like almost every other company on earth) but I believe buyers and holders are looking past earnings and concentrating on the balance sheet to see if maquarie will pull through to the other side. By all means short if you think this will send them broke
