Thanks for the link and your concerns, Stockie.
I have no intention of throwing myself into options just yet. Keep in mind that I have studied Statistics at an advanced level at university so I am aware of the risks involved. I for one will never buy standard put/call options for ASX stocks as the bid/ask spreads are ridiculous and the trading is illiquid as hell.
I'm just learning about them because one day I may need them to hedge my portfolio against any significant downside risk.
