I wonder how many readers have seen the video on YOUTUBE where the congressman holds holds up a small plastic bag of bushes ordered by the DOD (Dept. of Defence) in the US congress. The bag was the size of a small sandwich bag and had 20 bushes which the DOD paid US$10,000. The bushes were required for aircraft maintenance. In the real world the same parts cost <$1000. It seems that ripping off the Govt. is a tradition in the US (and probably here as well ).
Elon Musk and his DOGE have exposed a lot of Gov't problems. That does not mean that I agree with the tariff decisions.
