Why don't you bark at their CEO and ask him to return half of his salary?
CEOs like to take credit and bonuses for things that they have no influence over (eg cheap fuel) . They blame everybody else when things go bad because they failed to prepare for bad times eg trimming debt and building up cash reserves.
