Really? QAN fared way better than other well known airlines around the world right now.
It is all relative. The global airline industry is effectively bankrupt. Even British Airways have admitted they probably won't survive.
QAN is now selling pajamas and drinks trolleys to raise money. Maybe a partnership with Uber for home delivered airline meals is next.
Why blame the CEO as if the current pandemic was his fault?
Because he didn't prepare for the inevitable bad times that hit the airline industry
Also, bonuses are decided and approved by the board, not CEO themselves.
Boards tend to rubber stamp in good times.
If you think he don't deserved it, buy more shares until you own 51% and VETO it.
Why would I waste my money? It is simpler not to buy shares.
