1/ Pajamas and trolleys for sale just go to show how quick Qantas are to see opportunities and are willing to do " whatever it takes " to get a revenue stream happening and for that i applaud them ..... better than sitting there saying "woe is me" like some other companies .Even if the revenue generated was only $20,000 that would still be enough to cover some small costs which are unavoidable , it's a business and every dollar they can generate goes towards the bottom line .

2/ AJ had Qantas beautifully placed with plenty of funds on hand and that is why they can ride out this storm , yeah ok the government has been helpful as well but they did that for other airlines too and actually assisted them to a much higher degree than they did QF . Also the "inevitable bad times" no-one could ever have foreseen country and state lockdowns and the impact covid has had on the world which has never seen anything like this in the last 70 years .... you might as well ask airline CEOs to be prepared to lose business due to "teleporters" becoming the new standard way to travel.
