Federal Government subsidies to Qantas $2 billion AUD last count, they want to continue the flights, regardless of whether it brings in COVID or not, Jay Vas, Academy Limousines or anything else, just as long as they can say to the corporates, that the corporates might be able to continue exploitation, modern slavery and servitude a.k.a. Australia’s immigration program.
Questions for KPMG about how Qantas meets its modern slavery statement?
Qantas even has a Modern Slavery and Anti Human Trafficking Statement 2020, no joke, it is on their website.
Qantas’s assistance to the immigration program of Australia is hardly mentioned. I wonder how the auditor will get around that? How will KPMG sign off that?
How Orwellian is that?
