BOD remuneration moved back to normal from Nov 2020.

I feel for the pilots, air crew, ground staff and other "lower end" staff who not only faced a pay freeze for 2 years in march but now face job security issues and minimal covid relief from the government over the next 2 months as work has dried up.

Im glad the government stepped in and provided some support to these people. After all, this mess was the direct result of a bad judgement by the NSW premier and her health officer regarding the covid delta outbreak.

If those two muppets did their job properly and jumped on this problem early, this industry would be in a much better position and qantas shareholders and staff would be much happier. Not to even mention the millions of other Australians who have also been impacted by this incompetence.

It BOGGLES my mind that someone in a job can make a bad decision, cost the Australian economy billions of dollars and cost some Australians their lives. Only in government would this be perfectly acceptable and for business to continue as usual. Still employed, no consequence to ones action....

Ask yourself. If in your job your decision cost even 1 life would you still be employed.

An people wonder why we give no credibility to Politicians....
