Qantas would have gone under a long time ago which meant tax payers would then have had to fork out billions to buy it back. You are an idiot to think his bonus which he worked for would save those thousands of jobs. Before COVID they were about to buy A350s and expand routes. That’s how jobs are created. Not people like you telling a company pay a CEO jack all while baggage handlers get 80K. How about you jump in REX forum and whinge how they RORTED the tax payers of $55 million for COVID relief. That’s about three times plus their profit last year. When the government GIVES Qantas $3.5 billion in cash just for COVID relief than you can whinge. Otherwise stop whinging.
