For me the orebody is always the star. Companies come and go and I take the opportunities available on that front as they come. But for me its all about the ground - and I used to work at Bounty back in the late 90s, so seeing it get a new lease of life is fantastic.
As far as KDR is concerned, they are making a lot of good noises. Changing focus from being a small gold miner to recognising they have a monster is a difficult change to make - but they are doing a fine job of it so far... and the recent deals have been made while they are also making an office move into bigger premises.
Compare the good work KDR has done with what the leases' predecessors have done. Since receivership and missing the opportunity of a lifetime, they have reinvented themselves as a fossil fuel explorer... Meanwhile, KDR is embracing the opportunities new technology is providing.
