I would have thought that it is a little early for a prime minister[or minister] to be going to work for a firm such as this.
He may, or may not be privy to information from his ministerial days, which is not generally available.
At least 2 years would be enough to make any such info stale, and remove the appearance that he might profit from his political position.
If he is bored, do some charity work for a while.
Now, my thoughts are not a criticism of Turnbull specifically, but a criticism of the system which allows this.
