I must admit that I cringed a bit when they were joking a the end of the interview about his miss-pronunciation of the other drug. I'm sure he'll get it under his belt soon though, or maybe just stick to calling it MPL.
Hopefully next week we'll get the cohort 4 completion announcement with a statement saying that all patients will now move up to that dosage and what's want to stay on it from now on! To me MT seemed very confident and gave the impression that the results we have so far were already better than the current standard of care, and if the current treatments got orphan drug approval then MPL will too. But first, we need a completed phase 1 to show the FDA and ask them what they'd want to see in a phase 2 to make it a registration study, and also, by the way, would they please fund it too?
