After vaporising $40bn on this watch and not providing a pathway out of the present conundrum, it is time Mr Penn did the honourable thing and fell on his sword ... the lack of clarity on a strategy to stop the rot and stampede for the exits out a one way door at the back of the cinema is not going to stabilise until there is a change of the guard, IMHO ...
We have a business generating >$25bn in revenues and nearly $5bn in free cash flow - there is ample ammunition here to undertake some radical new strategies to counter the competitive threats, cut excess fat and sell redundant assets - we just need a new CEO to take charge to deliver transformative change ...
