My mail has Minara looking very very seriously at BHP's failed RNO. Theyve been in the town and they have been touring Ravi whilst its been on care and maintenance. The visit hasnt been a one off. There has been several visits by several people all at senior level. The mining people from MRE were somewhat amazed at BHP's mine plan and scheduling.Having had over 10 years of Laterite mining they were reportedly puzzled by the Big Australians approach.
Now I dont know where the finance might come from. I also have no Idea if this development would take the price of MRE higher or lower. I mean Ravensthorpe is an ugly duckling ATM. I have heard no specific references to bankers or finace people blundering around down south.
I mean if an MRE teams walk around RNO, prop at the bar in Hopetoun and generally have a chat with the locals I'd say if we report that thats a clear statement of fact.
