Thinking about news flow and timelines I wonder when we will see a MRE update?
The last update to the resources was in the DFS in January 2023. Since then the phase VII drilling results have come out in November 2023 and there has been a lot of talk about mining optimisation and metallurgical test work. We have been promised an updated, optimised and reworked DFS in the current quarter of 2024 so one would assume this would include the impact of an updated MRE??
It’s been my opinion for a while now that to get funding Sorby needs to have at least a 10 year mine life if not more like 15 years and of course a larger resource to go with that. With metals prices rising an updated MRE anytime soon would be a great catalyst and I’m sure management would be aware of this.
