given the history of ipo for private investor offerings which glencore is ,does this suggest they believe their resource companys have acheived maximum potential or will it be a partial offering where they retain a very large majority holding,or is it to maximise financial gain to expand their activities.
while its quite possible mre will gain its long awaited lift its equally possible the parent cannot see long term value in commodities all to often ipos have lots of unhappy investors its certainly not a guarantee of success for the buyer,the happiest group will be the seller paid on forward performance,while i have tried trading mre in the past with no great success i remain reluctant as an investor
