MRO (Marathon Oil) is a shale scale player in the EFS with properties in multiple counties (some may remember their historic at the time purchase of acreage from Hilcorp and they in JV with Aurora in certain AMI).

MRO held and Analyst day on Dec 11, 2013. Their website contains the presentation (almost 10Mb). Slides 31-40 are the EFS ones.

Slide 33 is below. This is interesting for 2 reasons - the first is the proof point for what MRO is suggesting is a major productivity boost and that is downspacing and it compares acreage in Atascosa with other areas.

Looking at the graph (top right) we see approx 20% gain in productivity of the type curve in the cumulative oil produced in the first 300 days. The bottom graph curve also shows similar improvement - so implication is it may be EFS wide.

This slide also clearly illustrates the difference in production for those 2 pilots.

That slide by the way is the beginning of the sort I details I would expect to see forthcoming soon from NSE.

Also in a little more detail from presentation by Lance Robertson VP Eagle Ford Production Operations on Aug 14, 2013 is the second slide.

Like TBE, I may take a rest as well.

    and from Lance's presentation
