cletus2, yes,the businesses only get a 1% cut in tax instead of 2 but I think the govt is still going ahead with the extra 3% super contribution phased in over a few years. So the business community will be worse off due to that. It's the Govt that are deceiving people with their advertisements (now gone) and with their spin. They say that they need this extra revenue from the miners to assist all australians by implementing an extra 3% in super. What about those non working people and retirees that will get no benefit. And since when does the Govt pay super ......the 3% extra will be paid to workers by the companies employing them and nothing to do with the Govt. Lies,lies and more lies from a desperate govt trying to win votes by sucking people in. Unfortunately a lot of aussies are gullible and conned by spin talk.
