    I am not too sure, but I reckon it is possible as you said that "they create such positive picture for investor to boost the sp and then they sell out these 'borrowed shares' at a higher price".

    But I also guess that since the last announcement they had probably been short-selling more GNS shares and at the same time they had borrow more GNS share, so that to keep their total GNS holdings roughly unchanged and to avoid further reports to the ASX.
