@Platinum.....this is new, growing field with majority of treatments in some stage of R&D.....even treatments all ready available to the patients will be closely watched/monitored for few years to come.....the doses and their strengths may change with time as well.....we are on frontiers here....

You seem to ignore the fact that majority of available drugs on market (already used by millions of people) are very often toxic and with extreme site affects....more and more patients build resistance to available drugs or develop allergies making those drugs useless to them...still, those toxic drugs were approved for use as there is nothing out there for these people...

recently more and more journalists are putting it out there that big pharma is very reluctant to invest in treatments which maybe a "one off" treatment or just one series of drugs which may stabilise or reverse a certain condition....there is no money for them in that!...they like to sell multiples of many drugs for one condition...the more the better!......stem cells technology and DNA genetic treatments are a huge threat to this trillion $ businesses ....we were ignored for a long time with big money staying away but that is changing....they have to be in it or they will perish.....it is a bit like industry of the "dirty energy" sources - oil/coal.....if they do not get into clean and renewable they will eventually be left with empty buckets and empty shovels and empty fields with rusty machinery.....
