I wasn't so much accepting it by my comment that "life goes on" as making a simple observation. These things annoy me no end but I can't go around being continually annoyed, there are more important things to do.
The legal industry(as it is presently structured) only exists because we have become too greedy,too arrogant, too addicted to "winning" and too ignorant of the simple virtues like forgiveness and humility( sorry if I'm starting to sound like a god botherer, I'm not) which were once part of our culture. Now everyone gets to feel offended and someone must pay money to make the pain go away, no one wants to accept(or give)just a sincere apology so the lawyers just clean up. Don't be surprised if the legal system is set up by lawyers for lawyers.
