Michaelirish; your OP has inspired a similar reaction on this forum to that of Pauline Hanson in Parliament.

It's my view that Hanson is incapable of understanding viewpoints which differ from her own. I've never seen her demonstrate either empathy or compassion for anyone but herself. It's apparent to me that her narcissistic burqa stunt was just another case of "Me! Me! Me!".

Sadly Hanson's latest self-serving, racist stunt will generate more victimisation, discrimination against and even physical assaults against innocent Australian Muslims; something that is just oh-so-apparent from the intentionally offensive, disgustingly abusive and totally in-Australian feeding-frenzy responses on this thread.
