There are probably several reasons why Pauline Hanson chose to wear a burqa yesterday, including those you mention. However she did prove one point: that the burqa is a security threat.
Although another Senator did vouch for her identity, Pauline was not required to show her face. The fact remains that it could have been anyone under all that garb!
