Pardon my ignorance, but wasn't Chile talking about hiking the royalties tax for miners not that long ago? If you can get away with disclosing a cheaper price to reduce taxes, you probably would. On the other hand, it's going to be tricky for public companies to hide the true price they're receiving when they report their quarterly results.
