How he's got to the stage of advocating for the removal of SI and other members of the senior executive, is a lesson on this and how nobody's perfect. It's a spiral downwards on that one but he's still got a lot to offer.
His ego was bruised at certain decisions made by HC, but instead of adjusting he's become an outsider. His decision. It does get brutal in here, no question. But he did fail to issue a disclaimer about not providing advice. That's a technical fact and it left him open to being shafted by those who wanted to silence him. He's played into their hands beautifully...
IDK what happened to the group that splintered off into Facebook but my guess is some have come back in here even if they're not posting. Because there is not the same value in an echo chamber, even an elitist one.
HC isn't perfect but there's wisdom in sticking with it and benefiting from the group, and allowing your own POV to be challenged. There's always a 'why didn't I think of that?' or 'oh yeah, that's riiiight!' in HC and those are usually silent but powerful.
Advocating for removal of SI is just a reflection of a confused mind. It's an impressive mind but that doesn't make him error-free.
