    I'm no marketing or commercialisation expert here, but let me use some common sense to break your challenges down.

    You've said...

    That would be true for many companies that starts commercialisation, but given your medical background - I thought you would have a better grasp with Mesoblast field of practice. I'm surprised you haven't taken these items into consideration, it's common sense after all tongue.png

    Competition - Ryoncil was designed to meet "an unmet medical need". Tell me what alternatives do children have for GVHD treatment?

    Marketing - Didn't Mesoblast say that 15 hospital covers 50% of the market in the US? What cost level would that be to market to these hospitals who have - guess what "an unmet medical need".
    Also, GVHD is a very niche field of medical practice.
    Dr Joanne Kurtzberg has been very keen to use Ryoncil. What is her standing in the GVHD world?
    Medical experts talk - I'm sure other experts are willing to listen and adopt a treatment for guess what "an unmet medical need"

    Also, EAP have been performed for years. Do you think GVHD experts don't know about Ryoncil?
    Would you say that this product has sticky sales? I would.

    Revenue - mesoblast is not selling widgets here - so how much can be charged for these sort of treatments in the US? Given your background in the medical field, you should understand that US health are expensive.
    So, how much are US health insurers willing to pay for guess what "an unmet medical need"? And how will this reduce their costs?
    So tell me how many patients need to be treated to obtain US$100m in revenue?

    Manufacturing - Produced by a reputable, reliable and large organisation - Lonza
    FDA inspected and ticked off!

    I think that's enough for now.

    It will still be challenging to "turn a profit" - but, given the above, it's a damn good start.
    So go ahead and reach out to you GVHD expert friends and ask would they use Ryoncil if they had a choice in Australia?
