Just to be the contrarian, what's actually different now that suddenly provides any more CERTAINTY surrounding the dates provided by SI this time and should convince us that SI isn't just the Boy Who Cried Wolf again?
4 or 5 months ago, we were all 100% convinced that we were FINALLY there, and that given claims made earlier in the year by SI, commercialisation was possible 1st quarter next year (recall the "15 days until doubt is removed" thread...has anyone had their doubt removed since then?).
Those timelinea seem to have been crap, if the new information on SGVHD, which MSB only got YESTERDAY, was the final info we were waiting on--where MSB couldn't really estimate when it would be received, if it would indeed be the "last thing" the FDA was expecting, how compelling it was going to be, etc., etc.
As far as the last year goes, I have fully assumed (likely to settle my utterly suspicious nature re: pronouncements by SI in the past) that there were behind-the-scenes discussions with the FDA, brokered to a large degree by Krause, and that MSB was actually following a path that had been agreed and directed by the FDA (as much as it would willingly and reliably "agree and direct" anything informally).
But today's song and dance to the same old tune, i.e., further delays with vague allusions to expectations and broad estimates surrounding commercialisation dates, a promised meeting with FDA on CHF (now we are waiting to hear back from the FDA to even set a date...), back pain trials planning that doesn't seem at all advanced on what we were told before, etc., etc., gives me no comfort and doesn't remove my doubt at all.
If anything, all of what SI said on those topics during the webinar (wasn't at the AGM, unfortunately) actually sounded LESS confident and convincing then his previous assertions. The pessimistic part of me almost feels like he has figured out that Krause ain't got any real suction with the FDA and that the functionaries/flunkies/backstabbing lying POSs at the FDA they are dealing with cannot really be trusted after all.
But maybe I am just being paranoid...?
