This is now no longer the case. That is the main difference between now and 12 months ago. This is why you might have heard a lot of companies that used to focus on growth at all costs, suddenly talk about how they are reigning in the operating costs etc.

Debt + covenants + large cash burn is not so bad when a crapload of ultra cheap money is available and it is not unheard of for investors to be paying 300x times revenue on a loss making business.

Debt + covenants + large cash is bad however, when there is a lot less money available. With the market sell-off there are also now many many other good opportunities out there with far far less downside risk - which makes it very hard to throw cash at a speccie like MSB.

MSB's risk-reward proposition doesn't look so bad when investors are comparing it to people paying 300x revenue on loss making businesses with a lot of promises but no substantial track record.

MSB's risk-reward proposition does however, look very bad now when comparing it to companies that are cash flow positive, and are delivering double digit growth that can be bought at a P/E of 8 or even less. Very little downside, still a lot of very good upside. With MSB however, it's still a do or die kind of situation.

Also, If Itescu can secure funding on good terms (e.g. no massive dilution, not at a high cost), I will applaud him as an amazing fund raiser. Good luck!

Why are you not posting daily on blue chip shares paying dividends given the post referred to here?

If you want the safety of blue chip then look and post on blue chip FFS.

MSB's situation is normal for its sector apart from one thing - it has only spent a 3rd of the normal cost of doing Phase III trials and therefore is doing very well on that score.

And a reminder we were hearing similar calls about ''cant raise funds'' before the surgeon led raising happened to your surprise.
