These things do happen - we recently ordered a bunch of I.T kit at my company (circa $150k's worth) and we were told it was 8 weeks to delivery - so every week we'd check in and be told 'the order is tracking to the delivery date' then when the date finally rolled around we asked where it was and the company (one of the world's largest IT service companies who shall remain nameless) said 'oh sorry we prepared the order but someone forgot to hit the button in the system to send it to the manufacturer
