Sordid coin? You're entitled to believe what you want but I think you're quite confused.

To take one example, Facebook exists because:
1. Mark Zuckerberg built the initial concepts
2. Investors provided seed capital and progressively provided expansion Capital until it established itself to the point of profitability/market strength
3. Early/key directors/employees provided critical direction and activity supported by 2 until it became established.

They're all necessary. Most listed companies adhere to similar patterns. Some take more Capital to establish themselves.

But saying individual shareholders who buy/sell shares down the track are responsible is like saying because like "Capitalism".
