The first date mentioned is expected on Nov 3. Could be earlier. This will tell us if trial for Covid ards will continue or stop. If it stops because it is judged to be effective, it will be huge news and I gather it will be used for patients on ventilators quickly.
However, results might be bad and they may stop the trial for that reason. Seems unlikely as first small trial showed tremendous results.
Third option is that they may decide to continue the trial. This could mean they just want more data and want to be absolutely sure. Or it could mean that they are still unsure.
For you research, I would look at posts by Science1000 and otherperspective for starters.
